My Vision

I offer a fresh perspective for change in the way our probate courts operate.  I want to offer a supportive experience built on accessibility, transparency and compassion. Our families deserve a system that is easy to navigate and local.  Having served as a Staff Attorney for one of the largest and busiest probate courts in the state, I have seen what is good about our current system and what needs improvement.

1) I will hold frequent information session throughout our community to help seniors, parents and families better understand the probate process.

2) I will return children's matters to our district. Keeping matters local provides families better accessibility to the court.

I have dedicated my career to public service and protecting the rights of Connecticut's citizens.  As your Judge I will empower families, making the probate process local and accessible.

Legal Expertise

I am an accomplished trial lawyer, a trained mediator and most recently the Staff Attorney for the Hartford Probate Court, where I gained tremendous knowledge and insight into the inner workings of one of the state's busiest probate courts.

Community Trust

As a resident of Old Wethersfield and a member of this community, I am committed to serving the families of Newington, Rocky Hill and Wethersfield.

Helping families navigate the probate process
Making Probate Simpler
Closer to Home

I will hold frequent information sessions for seniors, parents and families to help you better understand the probate process.

Knowledge is power.  There is a lot of information out there.  When you know where to find it and what to do with it, the whole process seems a lot less scary.

I will bring children's matters back to our district.  Right now children's matters such as temporary custody, guardianshp and termination of parental rights are transferred to the regional children's court in East Hartford.  I don't believe families should have to travel so far when there is a court right here in our community.

Common Questions

What is probate court?

Think of probate court as the people's court. We can go our whole lives without ever encountering criminal or superior court,

but almost everyone will rely on the probate process at some point in their lives.

What does a probate judge do?

Probate judges are attorneys who preside over a variety of matters including conservatorships, children's matters, name

changes, intellectual disability, trusts, estates and my favorite... adoptions.

What is PD-07?

Connecticut is divided into 54 probate districts and six regional children's courts.  Probate District 07 (PD-07) serves the

towns of Newington, Rocky Hill and Wethersfield.  The court is located in Newington.  The court currently participates in

the regional children's court and transfer their children's matters to the regional court in East Hartford.

What political party are you?

I am a lifelong Republican.  I am endorsed by the Republican Party and am a member of the Wethersfield Repubican Town

Committee.

Why are politics involved?

Probate judges are elected.  Superior court judges are appointed.  That's the way we do it in Connecticut.  While this is a

political  process, the role of a judge is to follow the law and treat everyone equally.

When is the election?

November 3, 2026.  The election will determine who serves as probate judge for the next four year term beginning

January 2027.
